The Rock refers not to limestone, nor granite, but a
powerful God in heaven. God is our one constant, our Rock, our source of strength and stability in the midst of the chaos. We are singles and college students, involved in Harvest Community Church, who are excited about making a difference in our world by LOVING PEOPLE - the most endangered and abused species of all. GOD LOVES EVERY PERSON and we are committed to doing all that we can to show that love to all people. We are dedicated to developing a Rock FAMILY of young men and women who really CARE for one another, who seek to SERVE and not just be served, who want to GIVE and not just take. We are a group of people committed to loving each other. We have faults and problems, but we deal with them together. We seek to incorporate the teachings of Jesus in our our everyday lives, such as LOVING your enemies, PRAYING for those who hurt you, DOING GOOD to others, NOT JUDGING people, and SHOWING KINDNESS to all. We seek to love as He loved and to live the life that He created us for.

Faith is the foundation of everything we do. It's why we live the lives we live and love the way we love. If you are curious about specific beliefs held by the Rock and wish to view a statement of faith, click here.

The Rock is made up of singles and college students, but we are
also part of a larger church family. Together, with families, students, and internationals, we form Harvest Community Church. We believe that God's love is big enough to bridge the age gap and cultural barriers. We seek to challenge racism, prejudice, stereotypes, and we value diverse cultural perspectives. We believe one of the purposes of the church is introducing people to a personal relationship with God. Harvest meets at 10:30 AM at Park Middle School. Click here for directions.

Small groups are the
basic foundation of the Rock. They are made up of 3-5 people who help each along their spiritual journeys. Within small groups you will experience the joys and sorrows of life with close friends. These are the people that you can lean on and who will spur you on to follow God more closely than ever before. This is a great place to build relationships and experience God's love in community. They meet weekly on or near campus and always look forward to somebody new joining them. If you would like to learn more about how you can experience these dynamic personal relationships through small groups, contact Ben.
